Dear Prospective Family:
We are reaching out to share some exciting ongoing news with you. Per last year, the State of Illinois has a new way to fund scholarships for children who choose to attend private schools through the “Invest in Kids Act”. Tax credit scholarships offered through this program include schools such as Saint Anne Parish School and could help offset tuition costs for qualifying low and middle income families up to 100 percent of tuition and eligible fees for next school year. We were so blessed this school year to be the recipients of this Tax Credit Scholarship offering.
There will be some significant changes in how and when you may apply for and receive scholarships to Catholic schools.
To apply for tax credit scholarships, you will need to apply to a separate organization that manages the scholarship process, instead of Saint Anne and Facts Management directly. Empower Illinois has created a two-step application process similar to last year to make the application easier for families and maintain the first come, first served nature of the scholarship. Families can complete the first step of the application process online on January 15 at 7 p.m. through their website, www.empowerillinois.org. For more information on applying, please click HERE!
Please make a note of this VERY important date.
Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis, so it is very important to apply early.
If you have an questions, please contact Mrs. Margaret Buckstaff at 847-620-3054 or myself. As always, all conversations are held in strict confidence.
We hope you will consider enrolling your child for the 2019-2020 school year.
