What a wonderful day of celebration at Saint Anne Parish School! We had quite the full house, with over 300 grandparents, parents, and special people in the lives of our cardinals at our school yesterday! We, on Grandparents’ Day, reflected on the faith and love that our grandparents share with us. They play a special role in who we are and how we have been shaped in God’s image and in theirs. Our students did a wonderful job articulating in words, in song, in pictures, and in actions… the importance of their grandparents in their lives each and every day! The hallways and classrooms were buzzing with excitement as our students shared their wonderful Blue Ribbon parish school, their home away from home, with these special adults!
We would like to thank the members of the Home & School Association for the lovely hospitality, check-in procedures and breakfast led by Mrs. Stephanie Hamel, Mrs. Hayde Federighi, Mrs. Angela Bowman, Mrs. Valerie Hessling and their robust team. We also send gratitude to Southern Belle’s of Barrington for contributing to our breakfast celebration. We hope this meal and fellowship set the stage for a successful remainder of your day at SAS!!
